We have just finished our stay at the wonderful Old Bank Rooms and everything was 5 star, from the perfect river views, to the quality of the suites and the breakfast service and food was 5 stars. Massive thankyou to Natalie and her partner for the exquisite food on both mornings. We will 100% be back before the year is out. Thankyou!

Great place to stay, right opposite the river running through the centre of the village. Had to park a walk away, but was only an overnight stay. Room very clean, with great views. But the highlight for me was the full English breakfasts, 10/10 excellent.
We have recently got back from spending the night here. Firstly the location couldn't be better you are minutes walk from everything. The one downside is there is no parking but 5 mins walk away there is a car park which is free overnight but just make sure you select the correct time to make sure you don't get a ticket. The check in process is easy as you get all the information you could possibly need before you check in. This has all the codes and instructions for check in. We stayed in the euro room which had a big bay window overlooking the river at the front of the hotel. The room was bigger than we expected so that was a nice surprise and we got an even bigger surprise when we saw the bathroom. It is HUGE!. The room had a fan and a fridge which again was a plus. We couldn't have been happier with our choice but there are a few minor details that stopped me giving this 5 stars. Firstly the robes looked like they had seen better days and definitely needed replacing and there was only 1 of them so no good when 2 of us had booked in also the towels looked like they could do with refreshing as they weren't as white as we would expect. Secondly as the breakfast is room service only the tables that you have to eat breakfast from are just not suitable, it's hard to eat a full English off a table that barely fits the plate so maybe a different set of tables would make that experience better as it was amazing looking out the window while we had breakfast it was just a little uncomfortable fitting everything on the table. This would not put us off staying here again as everything else about this room made up for these small minor details in our eyes. Just another note. This hotel is above a fish and chip shop so please don't be surprised when you get there and you can smell fish and chips, I have read a few who have marked the hotel down for this but if you have booked it knowing this don't be surprised when you get there that you can smell it on the side passage. At no point did our room smell of it though but not sure what the situation is in rooms lower down
A lovely stay in apartments right in the centre of town. Beds were large and very comfortable (except for the very soft pillows). Delicious room service breakfast was included in the rates. Some rooms have views overlooking the town and water, and others are behind and look over buildings. Rooms are on 1st and 2nd floor with stairs. Check in after 4pm and check out by 10am could be improved to give customers more time to relax and enjoy.

Wanted to give this 5 but a few things distracted. I couldn't reach the phone no. listed. The room was a bit difficult to cool in the heat as only one window would stay up. The breakfast is good but arrives not as hot as one would like. That sounds a bit too hard but one is paying a reasonable rate. Apart from those things it was excellent. Comfortable beds, spacious and very pleasant room with terrific bathroom. Lovely view. Terrific location though there is the item of managing your parking location and cost. Enjoy the village in the cool of the morning and evening. Great fish and chips downstairs.
Great little one nighter. Easy to get into, clean, tidy well presented room (euro). Big bathroom roll top bath. Really impressed with the breakfast. A hidden jem. Room did not smell as others had stated. Really impressed and recommend
